FJL: KCCA, Busoga United claim away wins to maintain top spots

Busoga United Junior team prodigy Isma Mugulusi scored his seventh goal of the season in the FUFA Juniors league, as his side stretched their lead in the Hat-trick group to six points.

Busoga United FC JT easily cruised past Proline FC SA with a 3-1 win at Luzira Prisons Grounds.  Moses Logono scored two goals, Isma Mugulusi scored the other one for Busoga United while Patrick Ouke scored Proline’s only goal.

Kyetume FC JT and Vipers SC JT played to a six-goal thriller after settling for a 3-3 stalemate at Mehta Stadium in Lugazi. Bashir Wandawa grabbed a hat trick for Kyetume while Ismael Alli, Derrick Kato and Haruna Kisakye were on the scoresheet for Vipers SC.

At Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe, BUL FC JT won 2-0 against Mbarara City FC JT courtesy of Lawrence Otude and Jimmy Ndalambi’s strikes.

Busoga United continue to boss the Hat Trick group with 19 points from five games while Vipers SC are second on the log with 13 points. Proline FC are yet to register any point from the four games played and lie bottom of the table.

Meanwhile, Treble Group leaders KCCA FC continued to show their supremacy after defeating Onduparaka FC 3-0 at the Greenlight Stadium in Arua courtesy of Jerome Otim, Sunday Opiyo and Elvis Mwanje’s strikes.

At the Betway Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, Samir Mudiba scored the only goal which earned Express FC JT the maximum points over Wakiso Giants FC JT.

Elsewhere, Police Armless Brigades edged URA FC JT with a 2-1 win in the game played at Progressive SS Mukono, John Kiseka and Isaiah Sikubwabwe scored for Police Armless Brigades while Hudson Otim scored for URA FC JT.

Allan Enyou strike was not enough to save Maroons FC JT as they were defeated by Bright Stars FC JT 2-1 at Luzira Prisons Grounds, Issa Bugembe and Rajab Ssemakula scored for Bright Stars.

KCCA FC are leading the Treble Group with 12 points from four games followed by Bright Stars on 11 points. Onduparaka FC sit rock bottom of the table and are yet to register any point.
