Uganda Crested Cranes technical team led by head coach Faridah Bulega has released the final list of players for the CECAFA Women Championship scheduled to run from 16th to 25th November 2019 in Tanzania.
The list of 20 players is comprised of three goalkeepers, six defenders, five midfielders and six forwards.
UCU Lady Cardinals’ goalie Ruth Aturo will captain the team during the nine days tournament.
The team successfully finalized their residential camp yesterday with a 5-0 win over UCU Lady Cardinals in a build-up match at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

The team will travel to Tanzania today, Thursday 14th November and will on Sunday 17th play their first group B match against Djibouti at Chamazi Stadium.
They will then play against Ethiopia and sum it up with a rivalry tie against Kenya on Tuesday 19th November and Thursday 21st November at Chamazi Stadium respectively.
The top two teams from both group A and B will progress to the Semi-finals.
