The situation at Tooro United is dour following the resignation of club head coach Wasswa Bbosa yesterday, Following his side’s 3-0 humbling by Onduparaka at the Green Light Stadium in Arua.

In fact, according to Bbosa, he had already resigned from the role prior to the game, reason why he did not sit on the technical bench during the game.

The major cause is the continued neglect and mismanagement of the club by the top officials, who only want to milk a cow they do not feed.

A bitter Bbosa revealed that he has been using his own resources to make sure certain things like transport, refreshments both in training and on match days, and allowances are in place for the team. On top of the players and coaches have not been paid for three months now.

Comments made by Bbosa did not go down well with one of the directors at the club; Godfrey Galabuzi, who we are learning is running affairs and making decisions at the club.

In a telephone (audio below) exchange between Bossa and Galabuzi, the two are heard going at each other over a couple of reasons, which include non-payment, mismanagement among others.

Bbosa joined the side in June 2018, after agreeing to a two-year employment contract. He guided the club to their highest ever league finish during the 2018/2019 season, finishing fourth while amassing 49 points.

Bbosa then agreed to extend his initial contract by a further year, a huge statement given that the coach was a wanted man elsewhere. The former SC Villa and Express coach has taken charge of 40 league games, winning 16 games and losing 13 of them.
