Uganda Crested Cranes goal scorer Fauzia Najjemba has agreed terms to join FUFA Women Super league side Kampala Queens from Isra soccer academy.

Najjemba is currently part of the U-17 Women national team that is taking part in the COSAFA U-17 women championships in Mauritius.

The forward has been part of the set-up at Isra for the last two seasons, and has been an integral part of the team, netting 21 goals in 28 appearances.

She was also in fine form during the Federation of East Africa Secondary School (FEASSA) games, topping scoring charts with 9 goals in seven games, plus 13 goals in the national championships as well.

Najjemba will be significant in Kampala Queens rebuilding process, after the club retained just 10 players of those that played last season.

Makerere defender Fatuma Nakasumba, Rines Midfielder Naluyima Kauthara are some of the new faces at the club.

Talisman Lilian Mutuuzo, Resty Nanziri, Zainah Namuleme, Skipper Aisha Namukisa among others are part of the ten players retained.

The Queens will be looking for victory after being eliminated at the semi-final stage by Lady Doves, during the Elite league play-offs last season.

Kampala Queens under coach Faridah Bulega are one of the eight teams that will play in the newly created FUFA Women Super League.
