Uganda Premier league side Mbarara City FC has today afternoon re-appointed Baker Kasule as the club’s assistant coach, a position he once held under former coach Livingstone Mbabazi last season.
Kasule has been the club’s acting technical director, a position whose duties he assumed in June this year.
After his new appointment, he will relinquish the duties to incoming technical director Ali Tabule.
Baker Kasule re-appointment comes in the wake of the club parting ways with former interim coach Brian Ssenyondo who was promised to take over as assistant, should the club find a suitable head coach candidate.
Ssenyondo has been in charge of the club for the past two and a half months, guiding the club to a single win and two draws in the five league matches he has been in charge of the club.
Mbarara city will play their next game against Busoga united in Uganda premier league come 1st October.
