Uganda Cranes midfielder Robert Kakeeto last week completed his move to Finland top tier side IFK Helsingfors on a season long loan from Danish side Aalborg FC.
Immediately he was drafted into the starting team over the weekend in their 2-2 home draw against Ilves FC at the Telia 5g Arena stadium in a game that was watched by 2085 spectators.
Kakeeto who was handed jersey number 33 featured for 84 minutes before coming off for Tuuka Andberg.
Last season, Aalborg loaned Kakeeto to division one side Jammerburgt and later on returned featuring in a few games at the beginning of this season before moving to Finland.
He becomes the second Ugandan player to ply his trade in Finland after Yunus Ssentamu (Ilves FC).
IFK Helsingfor was founded in 1897 and are located Helsinki hosting their home games at a 10770 sitter Telia 5G Areena.
