Every footballer desires to win silverware is the reason many will move from club to club in search of that one championship or league medal before time runs out on their careers.
New KCCA FC defender John Revita is not any different, the former Express captain told www.kccafc.co.ug about the reason why he ditched the Red Eagles for the Kasasiro Boys.
“I have dreamt of being a winner before and here is an opportunity for me to pick silverware at KCCA FC,” Revita was quoted by the club website.
“I want to win trophies, to get myself in the history of this club, the reason I am super excited to join a team filled with immense talent.”
On many occasion, the 13 league time champions have signed players who have failed to adjust, adapt and fit in and they have always found themselves on the transfer list in the next window.
Revita believes he and KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi complement each in so many ways especially with the philosophy and game approach.
“I spoke to the Gaffer and we shared a lot. His philosophy is one I bought into, the first time.”
“The club plays in a similar style of football that I am comfortable playing. I am excited to be here and hopefully the boys and I can make the fans happier than before this season,” he noted.
Revita is expected to fill the void left by Timothy Awany who signed a four year deal with Ashdod FC in the Israeli top tier league.
