Proline FC head coach Shafic was left pleased by his team’s performance in the practice games as they are preparing for the action packed 2019/2020 season.
Proline flattened Lutengo Youth with a heavy 20-0 with in a practice match played at Njeru Technical Center on Sunday evening.
Allan Egaku scored six goals, Hamis Diego Kiiza four, Andrew Okiring grabbed a hat trick, Ibrahim Bonyo and Billy Nkata scored twice each while Rama Sakari, Ibrahim Ssendi, and Bernard Muwanga scored got the others in the thrilling encounter.
“It’s a good preparation for us, although it looks like a weaker side but our target was to test what we are training,” Bisaso told www.football-256.com after the game before adding.
“It is always good to test yourself with a weaker side in order to get motivation but also build your confidence because stronger sides can easily demotivate you.”
“We are now looking forward at implementing what we demonstrated today in the games that are ahead of us especially the CAF games,” he added.
Proline will start their season on Wednesday July 31st against Vipers SC in the 2019 Pilsner Super 8 tournament at the Star Times Stadium Lugogo.
They are aiming at using this tournament to test their readiness for the 2019/2020 Total CAF Confederations Cup.
Proline were drawn against Malawi’s Masters Security Services FC qualifying round of the tournament, they will host the first leg between August 9th-11th at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo.
The 2019 Stanbic Uganda Cup winners will then travel to Blantyre, Malawi for the return leg which will be played between August 23rd -25th.
The winner over the two legs on aggregate will then play against the winner between Rwanda’s AS Kigali and Tanzania’s KMC.
