CHAN 2020: Awany, Taddeo to miss return leg against Somalia

One skippered the side, the other was on the score sheet as Uganda defeated Somalia 3-1 in the first leg of the preliminary round of the 2020 Total African Nations Championship qualifiers in Djibouti.

According to reports, www.football-256.com has learnt that the duo of Taddeo Lwanga and Timothy Awany won’t be part of the return leg at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo on August 3rd.

Awany will be joining with new club FC Ashdod in Israel while the Vipers Skipper Lawanga Will be flying out of the country to start negotiations with a club in Egypt.

Ugandan Abdu Lumala has already agreed terms with Pyramids FC coached by former Uganda Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre.
