Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan has moved to ‘The Den’ after terminating his contract with Zambian club Kabwe Warriors Football Club, a side he joined in 2018 from Ugandan champions KCCA.

The 29-year old custodian joins Ingwe at a time when the club is struggling with its goalkeeping department.

Last season the team was let down by all its three keepers (Ezekiel Owade, Eric Ndayishimiye and Adira Jairus) who were all at fault in different games.

Ochan is highly experienced having played in Denmark, South Africa, Uganda and Zambia, should he pick form fast, he will most likely be Ingwe’s first-choice custodian.

He becomes AFC Leopards’ third signing after the arrival of Burundian midfielder Tresor Ndikumana and Nzoia Sugar attacker Hansel Ochieng.

The club has so far released eight players; They are Ivan Ssekaza, Eric Ndayishimiye, Wayo Yeka , Marcel Kaheza, Paul Were, David Ochieng, Shimi Kibwana and Aziz Okaka.
