Action in Group B of the 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup returns to Huye Stadium with KCCA FC locking horns with Mukura VS and Azam FC taking on Bandari FC on Friday.
Much as KCCA is leading the group with four points, the positioning and points of it’s opponents puts the former in a must win situation.
Depending on the table standing, every member of Group B still has an opportunity to advance to the quarter finals.
“We are highly motivated and encouraged by the technical team and we train very well,” KCCA midfielder Mike Mutyaba told www.football-256.com after Wednesday’s training session before adding.
“We’ve seen our Friday opponents training and we believe we are a better side than them in the upcoming game.
“It’s a tournament of points we therefore don’t need to score a lot of goals all that matters is a win,” Mutyaba added.
The last time KCCA FC played at this stage was in 2015, then they finished third as Azam of Tanzania went on to lift the crown.
