The 2019 FUFA Junior League has reached its climax with KCCA FC Junior Team taking on BUL FC Junior team in the playoff final at the FUFA technical centre, Njeru on Sunday June 29th, 2019.

It’s been a successful football season for both youth teams who led the way in their respective groups of the U19 FUFA Junior League.

Two-time finalists KCCA will rely more on the services of inform striker Sadat Anaku who has been the league’s top scorer for three consecutive seasons and currently leads the top scorers’ charts with 31 goals.

“We are well prepared and in good spirit ahead of the final with only two injury concerns but we hope all of us will be fine on Saturday,” Sadat Anaku told www.football-256.com before adding.

“We are all aware of what happened previously when we lost two finals against Soana and Vipers SC, we wouldn’t wish for the same to happen again because I personally was hurt when we lost to Soana in Jinja.”

KCCA FC topped the Treble Group with 67 points whereas BUL FC were the log winners in the Hat Trick Group with 56 points hence forming a playoff final to determine this year’s champions.

“I know this could be my last season with the Junior team but ahead of the proposed move into the Senior team, I would wish to first win a trophy with the youth team,” Anaku further noted.

Bul FC will need a collective play just as they did the entire campaign but rotating around their top scorer Simon Oketch who scored nine goals in the regular season.
