After winning their 13th Uganda Premier League title, KCCA FC seems focused on gaining more success at all fronts.

The Lugogo based side is known for developing talented players then promote them from the junior team into the senior team.

The man behind the task of development is Jackson Magera and he believes the current juniors have come of age.

“My players are now well versed with tactical play because Vipers like any other team came into this game targeting Sadat Anaku and Joseph Bukenya.”

“These boys know football but my effort has been them understanding the game,” Magera told on Sunday after his side defeated Vipers 3-2 in the FUFA Junior’s League.

“But tactically Kafumbe scored a brace and still Anaku was on the score sheet despite not being on course,” Magera added.

KCCA FC will be hoping to win this season’s FUFA Junior League title for the first time after failing to do so on two attempts, losing the playoff finals in 2015 and 2016.

It’s always an open platform for the young players to showcase themselves and be ushered into the senior team in case they impress their coaches.
