AFCON 2019: Foursome join Cranes’ camp in Abu Dhabi

Following the conclusion of their respective club football seasons, 26 players are in Cranes’ camp for continued residential training in Abu Dhabi ahead of the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations.

The recent players to have joined the Uganda Cranes’ camp include; Emma Okwi, Nicholas Wadada, Ronald Mukiibi and Robert Ondongokara.

To make up a 27man squad in Abu Dhabi, Mike Azira is expected to touch base from Major League Soccer outfit Montreal Impact in a few days from now.

Uganda Cranes will play two friendly matches on June 9th against Turkmenistan and June 15th against Ivory Coast before they head to Egypt for their opening game against DR Congo on June 22nd

All the two International friendly Matches will be played behind closed doors according to sources from FUFA.
