The chest thumping and roars from URA coach Sam Ssimbwa at the sound of the final whistle spoke volumes, URA had defeated KCCA FC 2-1 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at Lugogo.

Much as moments later he had to compose himself as he walked to the opposing bench to shake hands with his counterpart mike Mutebi and his assistants.

“I will revenge back for all the things you did to me,” Ssimbwa was overheard telling a club official before refusing to turn up for the post-match press conference.

“I don’t want to come there and say things that will get me banned,” Ssimbwa said before delegating his assistant George Lutalo to take charge.

In 2015 Ssimbwa was suspended by KCCA FC before later getting sacked for uttering statements the club and FUFA deemed inappropriate and was putting the game in disrepute.
