Wakiso Giants go four clear, Kiboga tames Proline at Lugogo

Wakiso Giants defeated Nebbi central 2-0 to go four points (16) clear of second placed Kyetume FC at the submit of the FUFA Big League Elgon Group.

It was Wakiso’s fourth win and a third straight at home, against a Nebbi side that has managed one win in seven outings.

Eleven minutes into the game, Abdu Karim Kasule pounded one in the back of the net off a Duff Luboobi assist

They nearly conceded an equaliser while celebrating in their own half and the goal empty but Nebbi’s strike was off target

With seven minutes left on the clock, Muwadda Kateregga doubled Wakiso’s lead in a game that didn’t have much to write home about.

In the Rwenzori Group, the submit changed positions after Kiboga Young defeated Proline 2-1 at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo.

Mugume Brian gave Kiboga Young a first half lead, it was doubled by Issac Otto midway the second half.

Ismail Kabugu pulled one back for Proline, but it was too late for them to launch a come back.

Kiboga now lead the log on 20 points, Proline are second on 19 in eight outings
