Kenyan Premier League side, Gor Mahia has confirmed the signing of Harambee Stars winger Clifton Miheso from National Super League side, Kenya Police on a two-year deal.
Miheso only joined Police a few weeks ago, in a move that stunned many as most top KPL sides were on his radar. He has now made a switch joining the Kenyan Premier League champions becoming the club’s 18th signing this window.
Gor Mahia has issued a statement confirming Miheso’s arrival. According to the statement, Miheso impressed new coach Steven Pollack during the Chan qualifier match between Kenya and Tanzania and during Gor’s friendly match against Kenya Police a week ago.
He joins the club from National Super League Side Police Football Club where he impressed Head Coach Steven Polack during the CHAN 2020 qualifiers match against Tanzania and a pre-season friendly match against Gor Mahia FC.
Miheso has previously played in the Kenya Premier League for Thika United and AFC Leopards.
He has also played in Finland for Vaasan Palloseura (VPS), in South Africa for Golden Arrows FC, in Zambia for Buildcon FC and in Portugal for Olímpico Montijo.
Other new players are; Caleb Omondi, Alphonse Omija, Lloyd Khabuchi, Godfrey Ojung’a, Rich-Donald Ogango and Samuel Osoo all from the youth team.
Abdalla Shira and Tobias Otieno both from Sony Sugar, Elvis Ronack from Nzoia, Maurice Ojwang and Kennedy Agogo Otieno both from Western Stima are the others.
They have also signed; David Robert Mapigano from Singida United, Dickson Ambundo from Alliance FC, Dennis Oalo from Nairobi Stima, Gislein Yikpe Gnamian and Francis Afriyie.
